A new Beginning, a “PickleBlog”?
It All Begins Here
Hi there, World!
I have been contemplating ways to create a stronger connection between readers and fans, and I realized that what feels like it is missing in today’s social media landscape is communication. In this case, blogging.
I have always had a soft spot for blogs, from Gaia Online to Blogger and LiveJournal. They were such a great outlet for self-expression and connection, something I feel most modern social media has slowly moved away from.
When our communication is reduced to things like Instagram Reels and Facebook posts, there is very little room for freedom of expression and genuine connection, especially when everything is tied to views and algorithms.
I guess creating this is my way of taking back something that was once lost. I also think it is important to document my artistic journey. I want fans and viewers to be able to comment and express their love for PickleDuck and for art in general in a healthy and kind way.
Maybe I will grow this blog into something more one day, but for now, I hope you enjoy my thoughts, pictures, and whatever else I feel like sharing on this PickleBlog. Hmm, I quite like that… haha!
